This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki
Blade length : 31.3 cm or 12.3 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.1 inches.
Mekugi :
Width at the Hamachi : 2.74 cm or 1.08 inches.
Kasane : 0.45 cm or 0.18 inches.
Era : Around later Muromachi period.
Shape : Rather wide slim blade Hirauchi style.
Jigane : Itame-hada Masanagare Shirake Utsuri appear on the blade.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha Boshi Yakuzume style.

Special feature : Echizen Kanenori was a smith of Mino but from Jigane of the blade it seems to be forged at Mihara around Muromachi period. The blade itself is having nice quality but we could not guarantee for the signature.

Koshirae : (Hozon Paper on Koshirae)
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Shakudo plate with gold rim.
Fuchi Kashira : Lobster carved on Shakudo Nanako plate with gold color.
Menuki : The Noh play on Takasago carved on Shakudo plate with gold color. Takasago is considered a very auspicious story, involving a loving and long-married couple.
