Special feature: Shindo Issinsai is a swordsmith who was active from the end of the Edo
period to the Meiji era.
Such works reminiscent of Naginata were often produced during the Kamakura period,
and are produced by Rai kunimitsu, Ryokai, and Ryosai. After the Meiji era, many
swordsmiths will take on the challenge in the Taisho era and Showa era. I think it would
have been extremely difficult to put Hi in Tanto or carve it in Nagamaki style.

From Aoi Art :Masame Hada is a wonderful work and is considered to be a swordsmith
with considerable skill, but unfortunately there is not much detailed
information and it is said that he is a swordsmith in Kanagawa prefecture.
He is a swordsmith who was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji and Taisho eras.
