Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.

Width at the Hamachi : 3.03 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.26 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo Kanei era. (1624~1645)
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with suitable curve and long Kissaki Kanei style sword.
Jigane : Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome Midare Choji Midare Hamon mixed with Ashi work.
Boshi is round shape Hakikake style and turns back deep.
Special feature : Shinano Daijo Fujiwara Tadakuni is a clan of a swordsmiths. Tadakuni the first generation has born at Yamashiro province and learned under Dewa Daijo Kunimichi. Tadakuni forged sword in Tottori prefecture. The clan had continued up to 7th generations.
This sword is having very active temper line and also nice clean Jigane.
Saya : Black roiro saya.
Tsuba : Some leaves are engraved open work on rounf shape iron Tsuba. Signature mentioned as Bushu Ju Masatoshi.
Menuki : Lines painted with gold color on copper plate.
Kojiri : Some design is inlayed by silver on copper plate.
Kurikata : Some design is inlayed by silver on iron plate.
Kogai : Some design is painted on copper plate.
