Hosokawa Masayoshi was the swordsmith in Gunma prefecture in the late period. Later he moved to Edo and became a descipline of Suishinshi Masahide. He was good at makinf Sosyu-den and Bizen-den. This sword has deep curve and it is seems to have been made to imitate Muromachi sword.
