This sword belongs to ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single Habaki.
Blade length : 40.4 cm or 15.90 inches.
Sori :1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.71 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.70 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Edo period, around Bunkyu era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade. Ookissaki nice shape Wakizashi.
Jigane : Itame Hada well grained with jinie attach.
The Jigane is clear.
Hamon : Nie deki, Gunome Midare
and Togari Gunome Midare with many Ashi.
Boshi is Midare and pointed style.

Special feature: It was called 6th generation
Aizu Michitoki and also Nakajo Fujinoshinn.
He was a student of Shoken Motooki.
He was a well known sword smith of Aizu province.

Koshirae :
Saya : Kawari Nuri Saya.
Tsuba : Thick iron Tsuba with brass inlay.
Menuki : Shakudo, horse is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo, some pattern is engraved.
Kozuka: Oni devil and arrow are engraved with gold, copper and Shakudo color.
