Era : Edo period Kanbun Era.
Shape : The blade is slightly wide and thick then usual style.
Kissaki slightly long with deep curve, well balanced Kanei style blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attached. Typical Hizen sword with Konukahada.
Hamon : Nie-deki midium Suguha.

Special feature : Tadahiro the second generation has forged this blade.
He was born Heisakuro Hashimoto as a legitimate son of Tadayoshi the First.
Tadahiro was only 19 years old when his father passed away in 1632
but he was enough skilled to forge sword at this time. Tadahiro designated the Omi-Daijo in 1641,
aged 29 and continued not only forging sword but also supervised many pupils until his death in 1693,
when he was 80 years old. He was known as a skillful swords smith
almost all works are above the standard Hizen-to. He had been forged sword for a long period of time to leave
the largest number of swords among the swordsmiths of Hizen school. He was good at both of Suguha-hamon
and Choji-midare Hamon. Especially the beauty of jitetsu called Konuka-hada is appreciated
as the best among the Hizen-to. His swords are ranked at the Owaza-mono because of the great sharpness.

Tsuba : Chrysanthemum engraved on Mokko shaped Shakudo Nanakoji Tsuba with gold color.
Fuchi : Cherry blossom and scape of river engraved on Shakudo plate with gold color.
Kashira : Armored Samurai standing engraved.
Saya : Stylish Saya with Lacquered Samegawa polished.
Menuki : Shishi lion engraved on solid gold? maybe.
Kozuka : Mask (No-men) of old man Okina engraved with gold color.
Kogatana : Signature is mentioned as Inoue Ryochu.
