This blade belongs to Jyo jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 44.6 cm or 17.55 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.43 cm or 0.95 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.56 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : Osuriage Mumei, rather slim Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada, Hadadachi.
Hamon : Nioi deki, Choji Midare. There are many Ashi and Yo.

Special feature: Morishige was a son of the Morikage
in Kamakura period Genno era.
This sword was made Nanbokucho period Ouan era.
The sword is rather long and wide and thick long kissaki
but later on sword became small size and continued to
middle Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape Shakudo Nanako Tsuba.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, cherry blossom
and carruage is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Fuemaki Saya.
Menuki : Pine tree and person are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : Shakudo Nanako, dragon is engraved with gold color(with Kogatana).
Kogai: Shakudo Nanako, dragon is engraved with gold color.
