Era: the late Kamakura period around the early 14th century.
Shape: the wide and thick blade with wide Bo-hi and Soe-hi.
Jigane: refined itame hada with utsuri.
Hamon: soft Niedeki hamon with notare and soft ashi.

Features: This piece has the sayagaki of Miike Denta. NBTHK judged this swords as Rai Kunimitsu, and I also agree with this opinion.
The jigane with utsuri and the soft hamon is beautiful.
I like this elegant koshirae.

Saya: Black lacquered roiro saya.
Menuki: carving of plants like a gourd.
Kojiri: Shakudo nanako plate with carcing of flower.
