Hamon :Niedeki thick nioikuch futo (wide) suguha, notare and also gunome midare and in Hamon, many sunagashi and Kinsuji scatter active temper line. Boshi is Hakikake style with sunagasi, kinsuji.

Special Feature: In Yamato swordsmiths created Taima, Hosyo, Shikkake, Tegai and Senjyuin. Taima school belonged to the swordsmiths working for the Taima temple priests (Nara prefecture, Taima city Taima temple)
At 1248, Taima Kuniyuki started to make swords at there and continued till the late Nanbokucyo period.
Taima school is rather different from other Yamato schools. The first stage of the Taima school looks like Sosyu Yukimitsu.
The Jigane is excellent and nie-deki thick nioikuchi and strong kinsuji work. I think this Taima temple was so rich that they used high quality Tamahagane.
This sword looks a mixed up Sosyu den style. The blade is deep nioikuchi which remind us Sosyu Yukimitsu.
Please take a look at the Hamon carefully and find the charm point every time when you see the sword.
I think this sword is the top ranking active item in Taima school.
