This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade is polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 47.4 cm or 18.66 inches.
Sori :1.1cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.50 cm or 0.98 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.5 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period.
Shape :The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) regular
width and thick with small sori anfd longer kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach
with shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha with Ko-Ashi.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature: Uda school started from Late Kamakura period.
Father swordsmith named Kunimitsu was from Uda ,(present Nara prefecture)
and moved to Ecchu (present Nigata prefecture).
They prospered in Nanbokucho period. Same signature has been succeded
to many generations until Muromachi late period.
It was estimated middle Muromachi Uda work .

Koshirae :
Saya : Black ishime ji saya.
Tsuba : Round square shape iron Tsuba.
Menuki : Tadpole(this item might be sold gold) is engraved.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, pine tree is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: From the jigane and hamon, the sword looks middle muromachi period.
The Jigane is soft feeling bright and clear Hamon.
Koshirae is healthy. Menuki looks solid gold not so old.
