The blade was polished.
Habaki:Bodhidharma is engraved.
Blade length : 36.0 cm or 14.17 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.72cm or 1.07 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Suriage Katakiriba Wakizashi.
There is a signature”Bishu Osafune Sukesada” on the blade.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Ko-Gunome Midare. Boshi is round shape.
It looks like Yoshii Bizen.

Special feature : We really wonder about the signature of Bishu Osafune Sukesada.
We guess that blade is Kaifu school.
Kaifu blades are almost Katakiriba and engraved “Kaifu bo” on the blade.
The blade is very few in number likely to engraved the signature on the Nakago.
We have never seen this kind of Sukedasa blade.

Saya : Black Ishime-Ji Saya.
Menuki : Ise robster is engraved.
