This sword Soshu Masahiro belongs to Jojo saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki :Gold foiled copper single Habaki.
Blade length : 32.6 cm or 12.8 inches.
Sori : 0.4 cm or 0.16 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.

Jidai: During later Nanbokucho period to early Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with Bo-hi and Soe-hi engraved healthy Hirauchi style blade.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attach and the texture can be seen well.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome-midare up and down active Hamon and also Hitatsura style. Boshi is round shape and turns back and Yakisage style.
Special feature : This blade has a similar width on near by Habaki and Kissaki.
The blade is Hadatachi Jigane texture appearing well.

Saya : Black Kizami and red Hakeme mixed Saya.
Tsuba : Clouds are engraved on the Mokko shape iron Tsuba.
Menuki : Shishi dogs are engraved probably on solid gold plate.
Fuchikashira : Bishamonten and evil demon engraved on Shibuichi plate with gold and Shakudo color.
