The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 51.4 cm or 20.23 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo periosd Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is regular size kasane and thickness.
The blade is small sori with rather longer kissaki Kanei style.
Jigane : Koitanme hada well grained with jinie attach like Oosaka jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare and Kobushi Cyoji midare mixed.
In Hamon, sunagashhi and yo work. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : The 2nd generation Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke started
from early Edo period and succeeded 2nd generation Kawachi no kami Kunisuke and continued 3rd generation.
He was between first and third generation so he was called Naka kawachi(middle Kunisuke)
He found Kobushi choji midare hamon and high reputation from Samurai.
The blade is typical 2nd generation Cyoji midare Kunisuke.

Koshirae :
Saya : syark skin with Japanese coin which is called Kanei tu-ho is painted.
Tsuba : Mokko style brass metal with lines engraved.
Menuki : I think a spider is engraved by syakudo plate.
Fuchi : waves designe is engraved by brass plate.
Kashira : On the brass nanako plate, cherry flowers are engraved wit silver plate.
