This sword belongs to Jo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold and silver foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 30.7 cm or 12.08 inches.
Sori : 0.5 cm or 0.19 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the Hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Sunnobi Tanto with wide blade.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, Ko-Gunome Midare with Togari-Ha. We can see Yo. Boshi turns deep Togari style.

Special feature : Kanesumi is a sword smith of Seki province.
He succeed Kanesumi name around late Muromachi period. He has an excellent reputation about sharpness. Generally his blade has rough texture.
But this blade is very healthy and nice Jigane.
The Hamon is Togari Gunome Midare.

Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Bird and plants are carved on Mokko style iron Tsuba with gold and silver inlay.
Menuki : Mouse is carved on Shakudo plate.
Fuchi : Landscape is carved on Shakudo Nanako plate with gold color.
Kashira : Flower is carved on Yamagane plate.
