This blade belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper Ganseki Habaki.
Blade length : 46.8 cm or 18.42 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.75 cm or 1.08 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular width and thickness Suriage Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
This is beautiful Osaka Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Choji Midare and Gunome Midare.
In Ha, there are Ashi. Bosh is Notare Togari Gokoro.

Special feature : Izumi Kami Kunisada(first generation). was borm in Tensho 17 nen(1589)
in Nishu provoice(Miyazaki prefecture). He is a sone of Goro UemonYoshimitsu.
He studied under the Horikawa Kunihiro with Echigo Kami Kunitomo.
He moved to Osaka in 1620-1621. He also trained many puplis such as Inoue Shinkai
who is the heir of a Kunisda. In 1623, Kunisada was approved as the Izumi (No) Kami.
Soon after that, this blade was made. He also called “Oya Kunisada”(the father of Shinkai).
He passed away 1652. Since Edo period, he is also known as the founder of Osaka Shinto.
His swords are relatively long and numerous.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :Iron Tsuba, leaf design is engraved.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, bamboo leaves are engraved with gold color.
Saya : dark brown color Saya with some pattern(There are some damage).
Menuki : Shakudo, Shishi dog(tiger?) and bamboo are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: The blade is Suriage Wakizashi. In 1820, Kirituke signature was done.
Unfortunately we do not know the meaning of this Kiritsuke signature. It is quite rare.
The quality of the blade is also nice and beautiful Osaka Jigane.
