Jigane: Koitamehada is grained very densely with Jinie. Beautiful surface.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunomemidare with deep Nioikuchi. Ashi works well with Sunagashi. Boshi turns back round.

Special feature: This sward was made by Izumi Kami Fujiwara Kunisada 2nd generation, also known as Inoue Shinkai. He helped his father and made this sword in place of his father. Hamon is different from his father’s works. First of all, Nioikuchi is deep. Gunome is also with deep Nioikuchi, really well-made. Besides, it is very rare to see back-Mei which says “Keian Gan Yori Do 2 Nen Saku Kore”(means: made from Keian 1 to 2.) The blade is nicely-made and Koshirae is also marvelous. We truly recommend this to you.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Tatemaru-shaped copper Tsuba. Cranes by a river with bamboo leaves are engraved with gold color.
There is a Mei of Yoshihide(Kao). There were 2 Yoshihide in the late Edo period; Shoji family and Honda family, but we don’t know the details. Still, this Tsuba is made really well.

Saya: Black Kizami-Saya.
