explanation: This sword was made at Bunsei4th August(1807).

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 58.5 cm or 23.0 inches.
Sori :1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.9 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
The weight of the sword 570 grams.
Era : Edo period Bunsei era.
Shape : Big Wakizashi, the length is almost Katana
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained, Jinie attached Muji style Jigane with pale Utsuri
Hamon : Clear Konie-deki suguha

Special feature: Hamabe Min Ryushi Toshizane was a son of the Hamabe Toshinori and named Toshikuni for the first stage.
He sometimes used Gihachiro as sama as Suishinsi Masahide.
He regularly interacted with one another Suishinshi Masahide.
His subjects are quite same as his fatherr’s sword.
He also connected with Kawamura Toshitaka who was master of the famous sword maker Kiyomaro.
I saw early stage of Kiyomaro before and surprised the Hamon which looks like typical gunome choji midare hamon. Hamabe school was influenced a lot to other sword makers like Yokoyama school
Sukenaga and Sukekane and others.

Tsuba: Round Iron tsuba, Ume pattern is engraved. Higo styke Tsuba.
Fuchikashira: On shakudo plate, Peony is engraved with gold color
Saya: Black plate, bubble pattern is engraved.
Menuki: On Shakudo plate, horse is engraved with gold color
