This sword belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
shinto:Jyo saku ranking: Owari.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper gold color single habaki.
Blade length : 58.4 cm or 22.99 inches.
Sori :1.3cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.33cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.29 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei-Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is long almost sword size
and wide3,33cm ,thick nice
Nikuoki(healthy) gorgeous blade.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Shinogi ji:Koitame hada and small masame hada mixed.
Hamon :Nie deki suguha from the Hamachi
and then cyoji midare and gunome midare mixed with ashi/
Boshi: Notare and round like Jizo style.

Special feature: 2nd generation Nobutaka is called Kawamura Ho-ki
and achived Ho-ki Kami at Kanei 10th and he became Nyudo age 60.
At Kanei era, demanding swords are increasingly higher than before,
Distinguish of sword generation is very difficult 2nd or 3rd. But I think
this sword looks 2nd generation according to the Shinto Taikan.
Both swords are almost same quality.

Koshirae :
Saya : Drak reddish brown Saya.
Tsuba : Mokko shape Shakudo Tsuba, flower is engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, flower is engraved with gold color.

At Owari, many swords maker made swords like Hida Kami Ujifusa,
Because at Kanbun era, Japan became peaceful country and Samurai hoped to nice cut well sword
healthy wide and good looking sword. At Owari domain ,sword coach Yagyu Toshikane
taught Kendo to his master Tokugawa Mitsutomo Shinkage ryu.
It is reported that Yagyu Toshikane loved Iwari Hokki Kami Nobutaka.

Back ground of age:
At war time, sword demanding is increasing and produced uncountable swords were made
by the way mass productive items and also damaged sword while battling enemies.
But by and by Samurai want to hold nicer swords as samurai’s spilit.
Also sword makers needed to consumers against decreasing the number demanding swords.
It is necessary to look for new demanding samurai so
They tried to make higher quality swords and accepted their demanding.
During war time, sword makers made many swords by low cost, swift ways
cheap swords but at peaceful age, samurais wanted to obtain good quality swords.
