The blade was polished by highest ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 54.7cm or 21.53 inches.
Sori : 1.3cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.26cm or 1.28 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.24cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or inches.
The weight of the sword 650 grams.
Era : Edo period Manji era.
Shape : Wide and thick Wakizashi with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Good shape sword.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached and Chikei is visible, highest ranking Jigane.
Hamon : Nie-Deki Gunome-Midare. Boshi is sharp round shape.

Special feature:Mutsu Kami Tadayoshi was a legitimate child
of the 2nd generation Oumi Daijyo Tadahiro and succeeded
3rd generation. He got the tytle of the Mutsu Daijyo
at Manji 3rd year and changed the tytle to Mutsu
Kami at Kanbun 1st year. His posthumous work are very
few because he helped a lot for his father Tadahiro.
We can see some beautiful Tadahiro
which were made by 3rd generation Mutsu Kami Tadayoshi.
Especially the jigane of the Tadayoshi are excellent and
difficult to compare of other sword maker.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Mokko-shaped Shakudo Tsuba with silver coloration.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo base. A bird and a tree are engraved with coloration.
Menuki: Shakudo base. Plants are engraved with coloration.
Saya: Gloss red Saya.
Kojiri/Kurigata: made of silver.
