The blade is polished.
Habaki : Silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 54.9 cm or 21.6 inches.
Sori : 1.75 cm or 0.69 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.18 cm or 1.25 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : Shape reminds us Naginata Naoshi style, wide and thick blade.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful Hizen Jigane.
Hamon : Nie-deki Gunome Midare with Mokume hada mixed, Ashi, Sunagashi and Kinsuji work well.

Special feauture : Kawachi (No) Kami Masahiro was born as a son of Kawachi Daijo Masahiro the First in 1627 and passed away in 1699. Kawachi (No) Kami Masahiro was very good at Gunome-midare. He also tempered Suguha-hamon and other kinds midare-ba. It was in common with deep Nioi-kuchi.
On this work, small Itame-hada bears thick Jinie. Choji-midare and Gunome-midare are in perfect harmony. Abound Kinsuji and Sunagashi remind us of towering thundercloud.
