The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 36.6 cm or inches.
Sori : 0.4cm or inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.21cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.82cm or inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Wide blade with round Mune. Katakiri-Bori Hirauchi Wakizashi.
Jigane : Masame Hada well grained. At a glance, the Hada looks like Ko-Itame Hada.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
In Ha, there are Sunagashi. Boshi is Hakikake shape.

Sspecial feature: It is said that Gojo Gisuke Mago Tadayoshi is a grandson of Shimada Sukeroku 6th generation.
He is active in Kaei era(1848-1855) .

Koshirae :
Saya : Black color Saya.
Tsuba :Unique shape, Iron Suakshi Tsuba.
Menuki : Dragon and tiger with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Iron with gold line.
Kozuka: Copper, some design is engraved with gold color.
there is a signature “Muneoki”
Kogatana: there is a signature “Han Nyudo Fuichi Saku kore”

From Aoi Art: Tadayoshi is not so famous sword smith.
But the blade is nice Katakiri-Ba. The Masame hada and Gunome Midare Hamon is also nice.
The Koshirae is very interesting.
