This sword belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki :Gold failed single habaki.
Blade length : 47.4 cm or18.6 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.9cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1 cm or 0.82inches.
Kasane : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Manji era.
Shape : This wakizashi is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kisaki healthy sword.
Jigane :Komokume hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful wonderful texture.
Hamon :Niedeki gunome midare and oogunome midare mixed with deep nioikuchi. Ashi and Yo, sunagashi, kinsuji work which are in soft nice ha like mornig mist. The sun light is lighting between the tree and leaves . which looks like early morning mist

Special feature:
The Second Sukehiro forged this katana. Both the First and the Second Sukehiros are ranked very important position among the Osaka-Shinto swordsmiths. The Second Sukehiro served Aoyama Inaba (No) Suke Muneyoshi who was the lord of Komoro
Castle in Shinshu province. He was the Jodai of the Osaka Castle, a daimyo’s chief councilor in charge of his master’s castle since 1667. Sukehiro teh Sesond passed away in 1682.
Nice polishing brought out essential beauty of this wakizashi. This work is a splendid harmony of jitetsu and hamon.

Koshirae :
Saya :on the black roiro saya. a lot of tiny bubbles are painted.
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, some design is engraved open work.
Menuki : Okame and oni are engraved by syakudo.
Fuchikashira:On the syakudo nanako plate, broad beans are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Bijyutsu:He was stragging to make high ranking sword after succeeded the first generatio Sukehiro. First, he made his father’s hamon like cyoji midare and after that he tried to make deep nioikuchi gunome midare hamon and then finally he could make Doranba hamon.
But some sword collectors are thinking befor Doranba which was
fighting very hard time’s work has a high standing position compare Doranba hamon. Especially before the Kanbun era, his work is very active and filled with wild feeling and interesting work.
