This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 33.6 cm or 13.22 inches.
Sori :0.1 cm or 0.03 inches.
Mekugi : 1 
Width at the hamachi :2.85 cm or 1.12 inches.
Kasane : 0.78 cm or 0.30 inches.
Weight of the blade: 315 grams
Era : Edo period, Tenpo 13 (March 1842)
Shape : Wide and thick Hirauchi Wakizashi. The Ubu-Ba is still left.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is clear.
There are Chikei.
Hamon : Nie Deki, rounded Ko-Gunome Midare.
Boshi is Togari and Hakikake style.

Special feature: Echigo Ju Kanemune was a swordsmith who was a student of Aizu, Izumi Kai Kanesada.
He was also a member of the Nagaoka clan. He is a master of Yari.
The Yasurime of the Nakago and Jigane are beautiful.

Menuki : The family crest of Tanba Akai family(Maruni Musubi Karigane) is engraved with gold color.
