This sword : Chikuzen Ju Nobukuni, belongs to Jojo saku ranking.

The blade is polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 54.2 cm or 21.3 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.28 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.(around A.D.1661~1672)
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable curve and long Kissaki nice looking shape and also good Nikuoki (healthy blade).
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful texture.
Shinogi-ji: Koitame-hada changes to Masanagare texture.
Hamon : Niedeki with rather thick Nioikuchi Gunome Midare and Choji Midare mixed bright Hamon.
Boshi is double circle style turns back round shape.
Special feature: Chikuzen Nobukuni belongs to a stream of the great Nobukuni during Nanbokucho to Muromachi period.
He didn’t forge so many blades but his subjects are well reputation like this sword.
The blade is bright wonderful his top ranking sword without any Kizu or flaw.
