This sword belongs Saijyo saku ranking.

The blade is polished by a high rank polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 31.1 cm or 12.24 inches.
Sori : 0.1 cm or 0.04 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.83 cm or 1.11 inches.
Kasane : 0.84 cm or 0.33 inches.
The weight of the sword 340 grams.
Era : Heisei period(2006)
Shape : Thick and wide Tanto.
Jigane : Well grained itame-hada with Jinie and Chikei attached.
The pattern of the Jigane is very apparent.
Hamon : Konie-deki, deep Nioikuchi, Gunome-midere with Ashi.
There’re Kinsuji in places.
Boshi: Midarekomi but the tip is Togari.

Special Feature: So Tsutomu was born in Fukuoka city of Fukuoka prefecture in 1927.
After learning Komiya Shiro Kunimitsu, he studied from his father So Masamitsu.
In 1990, He became a Mukansa swordsmith.

From Aoi Art: So Tsutomu made many swords of Bizen tradition, Yamashiro tradition, Sukehiro, and Kiyomaro style.
This sword is a reproduction of Samonji school, the shape looks really robust,
the Hamon is splendid Gunome-midare, the Jigane is beautiful large Itame-hada.
I could say that this is one of his best Samonji swords.
