This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 57.3 cm or 22.6inches.
Sori :2.0cm or 0.79 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.86cm or1.126 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane :0.65 cm or 0.256inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Eiroku era.
Shape : The blade is regular wide and thickness
with deep sori elegant shape.
The nakago is small size which is called Katate uchi style.
Jigane :Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed
and masame hada strongly and utsuri appear.
Hamon :Niedeki and small ashi work. Boshi is round shape.
special feature:Bisyu Osafune Yukihisa was working at Eiroku era Late
Muromachi period who is not so famous sut typical Katateuchi style.
Koshirae : Higo Koshirae.
Saya : Kawarinuri saya.
Tsuba : On the Mokko style iron tsuba, rise up small mimi and engraved
Kikko mon turtle’s back shape.
Fuchikashira: On the iron plate, plant is engraved with gold color.
Menuki : On the shakudo plate, a cow is engraved with gold color.

On the jigane some Kizu but not serious.
The blade’nakago is small with deep sori nice looking Katateuchi sword.
This sword belonged to Arishima Kuki’s family’s treasure.
