Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length :  55.14 cm or 21.70 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.04 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.80 cm or 1.10 inches.
Kasane : 0.575 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with deep Sori. There are Boshi on both side.
Jitetsu: Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There are Utsuri.
Hamon: Nioi Deki, Choji Midare. There are many Ashi. Boshi is Midarekomi style.

Special feature : Bishu Osafune Tadamitsu was a sword smith in Muromachi period around Meio era.
But this blade is wide and well grained. The Hamon is different from Tadamitsu.
We do not guarantee this signature.
From the shape and work, we guess that this blade is Shinto.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Elliptical shape Shakudo Nanako, Samurai is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, wise man and pine tree are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki: Shakudo, cricket is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako, battle (Uesugi kenshin vs Takeda Shingen)
is engraved with gold color.
Kogatana: There is signature.
