This Bansyujyu Katsuji belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.

Sori :1.64cm or 0.64 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.67cm or 1.44 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 3.06cm or 1.20 inches.
Kasane :0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Weight of the blade: 720grams.
Era : The end of Muromachi period, around Tensho era(1573-1593)
Shape : width and thick Wakizashi. The Kissaki is O-Kissaki.
Jigane :Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
and texture can be seen very well.
Hamon :Niedeki Gunnome midare.
Sunagashi and fine Kinsuji works.
Boshi is Midarekomi and dabul-ha.
Special feature: Banshu ju Katsutusgu is a sword smith of Harima province.
He succeed in Tensyo period(1573～1593).
This blade is wide. It reminds of Oni demon’s knife.
