(Translation: Made by Bishu Osafune Tadamitsu in Bunmei 18(1487). The length is 1 Shaku 5 Sun 6 Bu(47.27cm). Great work. Written in April, (??)by Kunzan.

This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length:47.27cm or 18.61inches.
Sori:0.9cm or 0.35inches.

Width at the hamachi:3.03cm or 1.19inches.
Kasane: 0.8cm or 0.31inches.
The weight of the sword:470grams.
Era: Bunmei 18, the Muromachi period.
Shape: The blade is long and becomes Mitsumune, is thick and has Bohi and Sanskrit characters on the both sides. Hirauchi Wakizashi in a healthy condition
Jigane: Koitamehada becomes really fine and Bo-Utsuri appears really clearly.
Hamon: Sakkara Chojiimidare of the trace of Kanemitsu runs from the start till the end. The tip gets sharp and turns back.
Special Feature: A work by Hikobei the 1st, who is said to be a son of Gorozaemon Norimitsu. There are works made in from the start of the Bunmei era to the Kyoroku era. Most of his works are Suguhadeki.

Tsuba, Iron Tsuba, Kiri and arabesque desin.
Menuki: brass, Dokko design.
Fuchikashira and Kojiri:Iron, Kiri and arabesque desin.
From Aoi Art: This work is extremely marvelous, especially its Jigane is wonderful. We can see Bo-Utsuri clearly. The blade is long enough and has Bohi and Sanskrit characters on the both sides. Hamon is Sakasa-Choji of trace of Kanemitsu. The tip gets sharper and turns back. Moreover, the gold-inlayed Mei says that the tester cut Ichinodou(the first torso) successfully by his one hand. The blade is thick: Nakago is as thick as Shinogi in Hamachi. This sword has been preserved really carefully. It is really rare that Koto has Saidan Mei, and we have searched for other samples, but we haven’t found any. This is the very unique item. We suppose that this sword is the only Koto that has the gold-inlayed Saidanmei in this world. This sword deserves to be Juyo Token and we truly recommend this one for you. Dr. Kunzan rarely writes „Kasaku(great work)“. Tsuruta was astonished by the healthiness of the blade.
