Era : Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) regular widthm and thickness with deep sori and engraved bo-hi on both sides of the blade.
Jigane :Koitame hada and komokume hada tightly
with utsuri appear well grained fantastic Jigane.
Hamon :Konie deck small gunome midair with small sunagashi,
kinsuji work. Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature: Shigezane is said to be a younger brother or student of Motoshige.
He has later on become a student of Sadamune’s student.
His piece is Sugu-Sakaashi Hamon.
Those are similar to Motoshige andKagemitsu.
This wakizashi has healthy ji and ha.
There are midare utsuri seen also seen in the ji.
It inactive sakasa choji midare .

Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, ginkgo leaves are
engraved: signature Chosyu Ju Masasada.
fuchikashira :on the shakudo nanako plate,
noshi(gif) is engraved with gold color.
saya :black roiro saya.
Menuki:On the syakudo nanako plate shish dog is engraved with gold color.
Kosuka and Kogai:On the brass plate, bamboo leves are engraved.
Kogatana; Chosyu Ju Nio Masakiyo.

According to the Sayagaki Kanemitsu, Bizen Osafune Kagemitsssu’s child
Soshu Masamune student Kencyo era, At meiji 37,
He borought this sword during Japan and russin war happened and went Kamosenko,
yojyun battled together Japan and rissia.
The owner of this sword was Lieutenant Colonel Negi
If we watch the blade carefully, the sword looks Kagemitsu hamon or Kanemitsu.
The owner brought this sword to mainland Chine and battled russian war and returned to Japan safely.
