Shape:A nagintana-style wakizashi with an elegant and well-balanced shape.
Jigane:Itame-hada, well-forged with chikei appearing in the steel.
Hamon:A nie-deki gunome-midare pattern with a gentle notare flow.The boshi curves back in a small rounded manner.

Features:This is a rare work by Kunisuke the First.
There were three generations of Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke, with the second generation being the most famous, known as "Naka-Kawachi".
The first generation's works are known for their well-balanced shapes and finely crafted hamon.
The first and second generations' hamon differ significantly, with the first generation displaying a more natural appearance.
Kunisuke I was originally from Ise and bore the surname Kobayashi.
He was originally a samurai, but after the fall of his clan, he turned to swordsmithing.
He traveled to Kyoto and became a disciple of Echigo no Kami Kunitomo.
He was closely associated with Kunisada I, and their works share many similarities.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Shakudo nanako-ji, bordered in gold, featuring a high-relief dragon and clouds design with gold inlay.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako-ji, depicting a wave and a dragon with gold inlay.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo nanako-ji, with high-relief carvings of a dragon and a human figure, highlighted with gold inlay.
Saya: Black lacquered glossy finish.
Menuki: Shakudo with gold inlay.
