Shape: The blade is wide with a solid kasane, featuring deep curvature and an extended kissaki.
Jigane: Ko-itame hada, well-forged.
Hamon: Nie-based gunome-midare with rounded heads, forming a continuous pattern, and the boshi is midare-komi.

Features: Bushu Shitahara Ju Masashige was a swordsmith from the area around present-day Hachioji. Although not particularly famous, he was a skilled craftsman. This sword was made with a strong emphasis on cutting ability.
