Blade length: 21.3 cm or 8.38 inches.

Width at the hamachi:2.85 cm or 1.12 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
The weight of the sword 170 grams.
Era : End of Edo period
Shape: Regular width but thick Tanto.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-hada well grained. Jihada appear clearly.
Hamon: From Hamachi, Nie-deki Suguha then Gunome-Midare
and Togari-Gunome-midare mixed. Boshi is round shape
Special feature: Shigenori is probably sword smith worked around end of Edo
period.

Tsuba: Brass plate, characters are engraved.
Fuchikashira: Copperplate, a dragonfly is engraved.
Saya: Black Ishimeji saya.
Menuki: Copperplate, a bee is engraved.
Koziri: Copperplate.
Kozuka: Copperplate. Bamboo, bird, old man are engraved.
From Aoi Art: It has Mei as Norishige but we do not know him.
Maybe he is one of the swordsmiths who lost a job because of the sword prohibition.
