Special feature: I don’t know about sword maker Kazuyoshi but the Nenki(era) and Poem I can guess when the blade was made and how. The nenki(era) is 1946 which means 6 months passed after the war end . At that time a lot of occupation troops and soldiers stayed in Japan in order to control Japanese government and citizen. So it is prohibited to make Japanese swords at that period. But the blade was made at 1946 by Kazuyoshi sword name. I think some American officer asked to make Tanto for suivenior or other reason, he was obliged to make a Tanto. After that, He engraved on the sword not on the tang poem and nakago(tang) like this.
From Aoi Art: Red flowers in young green leaves are shining and broom scattered around overthrew beautiful fancy contrast. and bush warblers are twittering many places and mountains and valley. How’s feeling he made this Tanto just only 6months after the war end. I’d like to the story of the fact from the owner of this Tanto but he already passed away. So it is impossible to hear the fact. Why he made this sword just only after 6months the war end.
