Habaki: single wrapped habaki with hairline engraved design.
Blade length : 21.2 cm or 8.34 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.54 cm or 1 inches.
Kasane : 0.48 cm or 0.18 inches.
Weight of the blade: 115 grams
Era : late Edo period
Shape : Regular size Tanto
Jigane : Itamehada and masamehada are mixed.
Hamon : Koniedeki suguha from hamachi area,
and then gunomemidare. Bo-shi turns back roundly.

Special feature: Though it looks old at a glance,
it is thought to have been made in late Edo period.
I think it can pass hozon shinsa, but we do not buy back
at full price if it can not pass hozon shinsa
because this sword is consignment.
