This sword belongs to Jo saku ranking.

The blade is polished by good polisher.
Habaki : Gold wrapped single Habaki.
Blade length : 21.6 cm or 8.50 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.13 cm or 0.84 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.57 cm or 0.62 inches.
Kasane : 0.51 cm or 0.2 inches.
Era : Later Edo period
Shape : The blade is small size and regular width, thickness nice looking Takenoko style.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach nice clear Jigane.
Hamon : Suguha Hamon from Hamachi area and then changes to Choji Midare up and down.
Special feature : Yokoyama Suketada was a student of the Yokoyama Sukekane. I think he was helping to make his master’s swords a lot.
But unfortunately prohibition of sword wearing law was issued so he was obridge to finish his job.
The blade is almost same as his maser’s Jigane and Hamon.
Koshirae : Issaku Koshirae. (fittings all matching) Aikuchi style Koshirae.
Saya : Black Roiro Kizami Saya.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri: Kurikata : Waves are engraved on silver plate.
