This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :gold color single habaki.
Blade length : 27.6 cm or 10.87 inches.
Sori : 0.1cm or 0.04 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97cm or 1.17 inches.
Kasane : 0.58cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period. 1560.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick
with small sakizori style healthy blade.
Jigane :Itame hada well grained with jinie attach
and visible to see the texture.
Hamon :Niedeki suguha and notare from monouchi area,
very active midarekomi style. In Hamon, there are sunagashi
and asi scatter.

Special feature:First generation Kanetoki started from middle Muromachi period to Late Muromachi and continued to Edo period.
This sword was made at Late Muromachi period.
Mino school itame hada abd much volume Tanto is different from
Bizen Tanto. Many sword collectors Mino fans like this kind of much
volume Mino style Tanto.

From Aoi Art:This Tanto is very similar with Muramasa.
Both sides of the blade is almost same hamon.
The blade is healthy and higher ranking for Kanetoki.
The Tanto is accompanied with Kanteisyo which was issued Kantei
Kurabu so many years ago. Of course we guarantee NBTHK Hozon Token.
