This sword is ranked as Jyo Saku.
Polished.
Single-layer copper habaki.

Sword Weight: 110 grams (3.88 oz)
Era: Edo period, August 1850
Shape: This is a slightly small tanto with the rare signature of Sukesada.
Jigane: Itame hada well-forged with utsuri appearing.
Hamon: Nioi-deki suguha, boshi maru with kaeri.

Features: This Sukesada work is rare with a two-character signature and the date on the reverse side, August 1850.

Koshirae:
Kozuka: Shakudo nanakoji with gold inlay of human and bird motifs.
Saya: Interesting design with patterns over fabric.
Menuki: High-relief carving of a tiger with gold inlay.
