Explanation: Kazushira was made this blade for Mr. Ozawa Seiichi in April, 1999.

Okubo Kazuhira, he became a Mukansa sword smith
whom the NBTHK judged.
This blade has nice Ochoji Midare whom the school’s strong point.
And also the blade looks like Fukuoka Ichimonji.
It was one of the best works for him.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku(the Top)ranking.

The blade was polished by one of the best polisher.

Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed
with jinie attach beautiful nice texture.
Hamon :niedeki cyoji midare hamon jyuka cyoji midare with ashi, yo work.
Boshi is midarekomi.

Special feature:Kazuhira okubo sword maker was born at Kanagawa prefecture and studied
under the Miyairi Syohei Japanese sword human national treasure and received Hira from his master and named Kazuhira.
At the sword contest, He got the Yusyu syo prize Syoreisyo and Kunzansyo prize
and finally he got Mukansa swordsmith. He passed away Heisei 15th Feb, 24th.

From Aoi art:This sword lookis Fukuoka Ichimonji which is written
on the sayagaki. The blade is very healthy without kizu
and flow excellent polishing was done.
I think this sword is a masterpiece of his work.
