This sword belongs Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by one of the highest polisher.

Sori : 2.9cm or 1.14 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 3.34cm or 1.315inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.39 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.3 inches.
Era : modern times(1983)
Shape : The blade is long and thick
with deep sori and Ikubi kissaki nice looking sword.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained
with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Shinogi ji:Koitame hada.
Hamon :Koniedeki Choji midare and Jyuka choji midare mixed
and Ashi scatter. in Hamon, sunagashi, kinsuji work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature:Ookuba Kazuhira was born at Showa 18th
and studied under the human national treasure Miyairi Syohei.
He lerarned a lot from his great master and also his students.
He was permitted to make Japanese swords
from the ministry of Education at Shyowa 42nd.
From that period he got a lot of prizes, Yusyu syo, Syoreisyo,
and also Kunzan syo prize at Heisei 3rd and became Mukansa
swordsmith at Heise 12th.
His strong point is making Sosyu den, and Bizenden .
Unfortunately he passed away at Heise 15,
Feb 24 just only 3 years later becoming Mukansa sword smith.

From Aoi Art : This sword was made as Fukuoka Ichimonji
in Kamakura period. I think early stage of the Fukuoka Ichimonji
is like this condition. The sword is excellent masterpiece of his sword.
The blade is marvelous active Cyoji midare and dauble Cyoji midare hamon
and in Hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
