This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :gold color single habaki.
Blade length : 34.39 cm or 13.53inches.
Sori :0.45 cm or 0.17inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.85 cm or 1.12inches.
Kasane :0.54 cm or 0.21inches.
Length of the sword: 235grams.
Era : Edo period around Kanei era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with moderate Sori.
Hirauchi style Wakizashi.
Jigane : Mokume Hada and Itame Hada. It is visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Nie Dekim Gunome Midare and Togari Gunome Midare.
In the Ha, there are Ashi, Yo, Sunagashi, and Kinsuji.
Boshi is round and Hakikake style.

Special feature: NBTHK has judged this blade as Echizen Daijo Kunitsugu. The blade was made around Edo Kanei era and similar to Dewa Daijo Kunimichi.

Koshirae :
Saya : Dark brown Ishime Ji.
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, some design is engraved with openwork.
Menuki : Plant is engraved.
Fuchikashira: Fower and butterfly are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: It is judged as Echizen Daijo Kunitsugu, but apparently it looks very similar to the ones of Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi. Koshirae has elegant patterns and is very interesting. The blade is Sunnobi flat style, which we can truly recommend to you.
