The blade is polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold wrapped double Habaki.
Blade length : 32.3 cm or 12.72 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.08 inches.

Width at the Hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.63 cm or 1.35inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.21 inches.
Era : Early Edo period Keicho era. (1596~)
Shape : The blade is regular width, thickness and Kenmaki-Ryu
(dragon) engraved and on the other side, Gomahashi is engraved Katakiri Hori style.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach and Chikei work beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha Notare with thick Nioikuchi double Hamon.
Boshi turns back round shape with deep Nioikuchi.
special feature : Early stage of Yasutsugu the first generation said that he engraved his signature ‘Higo Daijyo Shimosaka’.
Later on he moved to Edo.
This blade is unusual Katakiri blade sword.
