The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper plate and gold color double habaki.
Blade length: 32.6cm or 12.83 inches.
Sori:0.2cm or 0.07 inches.
Width at the hamachi:2.81 cm or 1.10 inches.
Kasane: 0.63cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword: 280 grams.
Era: Edo period around Kanei era.
Shape: Regular width and thickness Sun Nobi Tanto.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Ko Choji Midare and Ko Gunome Midare with many Ashi.
Boshi is round shape. In the Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Special Feature: This blade is looks like Kanenori. This swordsmith was continued from Kanenori of Mino province. In the Edo period, the production of Tanto decreased sharply.
After Keicho, the production has completely disappeard. But at the end of the Edo period, Tanto became popular. Therefore, the signatured Tanto is valuable.
Saya: wrinkle pattern black and gold color Saya.
Tsuba: Iron Tsuba, umbrella-holding person and frog are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, Shishi dog is engraved with gold color.
Menuki: Shishi dog is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka Kogatana: Shakudo Nanako, Shishi dog and peony are engraved with gold color.
