Features: Echigo Kami Kanesada the 1st-gen was apprentice of Iga. His initial inscriptions were angular, but in the late period, the characters were rounded, and his style changed from Suguha to Midare, similar to those of Kanesada the 2nd. At that time, Sukehiro and Shinkai were active in Osaka, and he was probably influenced by them.
This piece has been carefully polished in Sashikomi style, picking up the Hamon properly.
