and Hamon both kessaku Jida Einin no koro Ikedake Denrai, Syowa Hinotomi Kisaragi(1977nen Feb Kunzan shi.

Sayagaki: Bizen Koku Fukuoka Ju Sahyouemonjo Naganori.
Blade length is 33.2cm. The Jigane is great and typical Naganori.
made around Einin era(1293-1298).
This blade is an heirloom of Ikeda family.
Written by Dr.Kunzan in February 1977.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by one of the top ranking polisher.
Habaki :Gold wraapped single habaki.
Blade length : 33.2 cm or 13.07 inches.
Whole Shisaya a length: 81 cm or 31.88 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.4 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :2.3 cm or 0.9 inches.
Kasane : 0.59cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Kamakura period Einin ers 1293(720 years ago)
Shape : Naginata zukuri style mitumune with sori rather deep.
on both sides of the blade engrave Naginata hi with shappou kurijiri.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work nice texture.
Hamon :niedeki suguha with small ashi.

Special feature:Fukuoka Ichimonji Naganori was working at Einin to Kagen
Kamakura period. At the end of the Hukuoka Ichimonji’s hamon is almost suguha not general Ichimonji style hamon.
It is a few swords are long character signature like this sword
Bizen Kuni Fukuoka Jyu Sazaemon Jyo Naganori.
There are several Ichimonji school, Fukuoka, Yoshioka, Katayama, Koichimonji and also Syocyu ichimonji.
This blade belonges to late Fukuoka ichimonji.
The blade has passed more than 720 years precious Zaimei sword.
