This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 81.8 cm or 32.20 inches.
Sori : 2.42cm or 0.95 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 3.2 cm or 1.25  inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.61 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.98 cm or 0.38 inches.
The weight of the sword 1,810 grams.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : 2syaku 7sun long Katana. Nakago is 82cm.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is soft feeling.
Shinogi-Ji: Itame Hada well grained.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suhuha and then Gunome Midare
are repeated alternately.

Special feature : This blade was judged as Kanefusa.
You will be amazed at its length and weight.
Probably this sword doneted to shrines and temples as votive offering.
This is very valuable and precious sword.

Koshirae : Whole length: 199 cm or 78.3 inches.
This Koshirae was made during or before the Edo period.
Tsuka : wraped with cloth and painted Urushi laquer.
Kojiri is iron.
Koikuchi is copper.

From Aoi Art: This Nagamaki is Katana shape. The Nakago is long 82cm.
The blade is healthy. We guess that this blade was made for dedicatory for the shrine. We recommend this sword for you.
