The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 66.9 cm or 26.3 inches.
Sori :1.9cm or0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.99cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Before the war.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada well graiend with jinie attach beautiful Jigane(texture)
Hamon :Koniedeki cyoji midare with soft nioikuchi and ashi, sunagashi and also small kinsuji work. Boshi is togari style round boshi.

Special feature:Yasunori, also pronounced Yasutoku was one of a famous Yasukuni-tosho who was born in Hiroshima pref. He entered Nihon-to tanren-kai in 1933 and forged about 1,250 swords including dedicating swords to shin-to shrines. He withdrew in 1940.

Koshirae : Higo Koshirae.
Saya :Black ishimeji saya.
Tsuba :Oval iron tsuba, rise up wild mimi, cherry petals are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : The design is a rat and rotus with gold and sikver color.
Fuchikashira:On the iron plate, flowers are pinted by gold color.

From Aoi-Art:Kajiyama Yasunori is the top ranking sword maker in Yasukuni shrine swords.The Jigane is excellent and nice Cyoji midare hamon. I think high ranking polisher polished carefully and produced nice Jigane by using nice polishing stone.
Generally Yasukuni shrine blade’s Jigane is tight and like mirror not find texture. so i was impressed his well grained Jigane.
Higo Koshirae is also nice and good condition.
