Shape: The blade is broad and thick with deep Sori. Bohi on the both sides. Kissaki is long. Powerful shape with more than 5cm long Ububa.
Jigane: Ayasugi Jigane. Hadame is visible.
Hamon: Niedeki Gunomemidare. Boshi is Midarekomi with deep Nioikuchi. It is very difficult to produce large Gunomemidare with Ayasugihada.
Special feature: Zushu Mishima Ju Yusuishin Sadayoshi learned how to make swords under Gassan Sadakatsu. It is surprising that he acquired Ayasugihada, the secret of Gassan family. He was born in 1908(Meiji 41) and later became a pupil of Gassan Sadakatsu, the son of Gassan Sadakazu. Later, he gained number of prizes and became Mukansa swordsmith. He was very good at Soshuden and traced Shizu works and gained reputation. Yusuishin(湧水心） possibly comes from his place, Mishima, was famous for clean water from Mt. Fuji.
