Kissaki. Well-shaped Osuriage Mumei Katana.
Jigane: Komokumehada is very dense with Utsuri.
Shinogiji: Itamehada, Mokume, and Masame are mixed. Jigane of the Kamakura period is visible in Shinogiji.
Hamon: Koniedeki Suguha with Koashi. The upper part has deep Nioikuchi. Boshi turns back beautifully and ends with Hakikake shape.

Special feature: Higo Enju school is founded by the grandchild from Rai Kuniyuki’s daughter married into another family,Taro Kunimura, and flourished from the late Kamakura period to Nambokucho period in Kikuchi village. Many famous swordsmiths
came out of the school, like Kiyoshi, Kunitoki, Kuniyasu, Kunitomo, Kunisada, Kuninobu and Kunitsuna. Their characteristics are similar to the ones of Rai school but this blade
has some differences: Masagokoro, Nioikuchi is low, Shirakeutsuri appear, low Hamon, slightly bigger roundness of the tip on Boshi, and Boshi turns back very shallow.

From Aoi Art: This Katana has dense Jigane of Komokume and Moitame with lots of Jinie and Shirakeutsuri. Chikei is very small and Hamon is Suguha with Koashi. These are strong characteristics of Enju school. When you have a look at the blade, you’ll know how beautiful this Jigane is immediately. It has Utsuri and as you have a close look at Mokume, Itame, and Masame, you reach the bautiful Suguha Hamon. Boshi is Niedeki and turns back in a small circle and ends with Hakikake. We truly recommend this to you.
