This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki
Blade length :64.85  cm or 25.5 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi :  3
Width at the hamachi : 3.03cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.36cm or 0.92 inches.
The weight of the sword 0.55 grams.
Era : Nanbokucho period
Shape : O-Suriage Mumei sword with regular width and thickness. Sori is deep and Kissaki is longer. Bo-hi is engraved.
Jigane : Itame-Hada and Mokume-Hada mixed. Jinie attached and Chikei worked.
Hamon :
Boshi: Notare then round shape.

Special feature: Kaneuji, one of the Masamune 10 students, came to the
land of At Mino Shizu, and this group prospered. Later students,
Kanetomo, Kanetsugu, Kaneshige, and Kanenobu, moved to Naoe,
the country, and played an active role. These swordsmiths are
called Naoe shizu.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Square shape iron Tsuba. Net pattern is engraved with Heianjo style brass.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Ishime plate. Flower is engraved with gold color.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. Birds are engraved
Saya: Black Kizami and Inro-Kizami style Saya.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako plate. Flower is engraved with gold color
Kogai: Shakudo Nanako plate,. Flower is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: The Hamachi and Kissaki’s width is not so different but Kissaki is O-Kissaki style. Jigane is well rained with Chikei, Hamon is Soshu-Den style Notare GUnome-Midare. Sunagashi and Kinsuji worked typically Naoe Shizu. We strongly recommend this sword with this wonderful Koshirae.
